FLUTIE 5K FOR AUTISM

For several years, Scalora Consulting Group and the Helping Hand Fun have and continue to be proud donators, supporters, and participants in the annual Flutie 5K for Autism. The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism was founded in 1998 by former NFL and Boston College Quarterback Doug Flutie and his wife, Laurie, both from Natick, Massachusetts. After their son Doug, Jr. was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, they wanted to ensure that other families affected by autism had opportunities for support and access to services. The Flutie 5K was founded in 2000 as a Natick community event and has grown nationally.
